So, the long month of looming is over! I went to the post office Thursday morning and mailed my projects with super speedy delivery. I still think I should have just driven them to their destination… I hope they have gotten where they were going safe and sound and that the double pointed needles didn’t skewer the yummy I snuck in the box.
Now, what’s a girl to do when she can put down the looms? I was going to come home and read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. (No, I still hadn’t read it! Yes, I know I’m one of the last people on the planet to read it!) Instead, I spent a big chunk of the afternoon in the insta-care with sick and super lethargic Tiny T. He kept falling asleep, was hard to rouse, had discoloration around his mouth, hadn’t been able to keep anything down all morning, and looked really awful. Because he is so undersized, I worried that he might dehydrate faster than usual and the lethargy was scaring me a bit so we went to the clinic. After we finished up there and we had picked the boys up from school, I could have slipped into a chair and wandered into the pages of Harry Potter… if not for a tremendous migraine. I was useless for the rest of the day!
But no worries! I devoured the entire book this weekend : ) I have to say I loved it! There were sad parts that really made me cry, and thrilling parts that kept me turning the pages, and such clever intertwining of characters lives, and the ending was just perfect. (I’m being careful not to say too much in case anyone else out there hasn’t had a chance to read it : D ) I do have to say a part of me is sad to know that there isn’t another Harry Potter book to wait for. And be excited about at release time. Hopefully, J.K. Rowling will keep sending out fabulous books of some sort.
What’s up for tomorrow? A house that needs to be brought to order, Christmas crafting, and I hope I can squeeze a little Chrono Cross in. My playstation has been under my bed (I hide it from the kids ; ) – MY toy, MINE! What!? I share – a little… and they have tons of nintendo gear) for eons now. At least six months. Mommies just don’t get very many play-times…
Have a great night!
