This month, I though it would be fun to do a recipe that is one of my favorite summer treats. So without further ado:
Banana-Berry Bliss
3 small bananas or 2 large bananas
4 medium strawberries (or 1/3 cup blackberries, raspberries, or blueberries)
1/2 cup yogurt (I usually use strawberry flavored)
1/8 – 1/4 cup sugar, depending on taste
1 cup milk
1 cup ice
Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until smooth. Serve immediately. Makes 6 servings.
This recipe makes an entire blender full of smoothie goodness. If you need fewer servings, try cutting the recipe by half. Also, you can mix it up a bit and try different berries or other fruits. This is absolutely delicious with vanilla yogurt, two peaches and a banana. Heaven in a glass! Play around until you find your favorite ‘blend’. I hope you enjoy a summer full of smoothies






Ok, I have the recipes and will make one as soon as I can get Chris to buy the ingredients I need (we only have one nana left in the house and that is only b/c it is hidden! And I need yogurt. I am going to use blueberries for the fruit…strawberries would be my fav, but I developed an allergy to them in 2000.
