See! There’s a loom shortage going on around here. I think I am going to have to go shopping! I’m going to have to have triplicates of all my looms. I found out duplicates is not enough. Especially when you are teaching the girls in acheivement days to loom knit. We are making hats for preemies and newborns. We cast on both my blue looms and one of my red ones. It’s just for a few weeks. I wouldn’t miss those looms for that little bit of time, right? Wrong! I almost never use the blue loom. But as luck would have it, I have needed it more than four times since we cast on the baby hats. So what is a girl to do? This girl called her mommy, lol. She has a set that she has yet to break out of the package. I was going to borrow her ‘little blue’. But her set was a mix that had no ‘little blue’! Gah! The solution: I finished one of the hats off and freed one of my little blue looms. Now I’ll need to hurry up and finish my projects. Then I’ll have to start a new hat on that blue loom so I can show the girls how to remove the hats from the loom when they come back next week. An extra hat to donate is not so bad… but I should go shopping anyway 🙂 Have a great day!
