This month in the DecorAccentsInc group on Yahoo, we are having a Loom-Along. The pattern is Pinwheel Dishcloth by Isela Phelps. You can find the pattern at the Loom Knitters Circle ezine. I really enjoyed this pattern. It is a great introduction to short row shaping and it was fun to see the dishcloth take shape.
Here is my finished Pinwheel Dishcloth:
And here it is after I added a crochet ruffle border:
I love how this dishcloth turned out 🙂 Do you like the border? If you want to try it out, here is how I did it:
1. After you have blocked your Pinwheel Dishcloth, use a size J crochet hook and attach your yarn to the edge of the cloth with a sc. Ch 3. Skip a loop (edge of a row) and sc in the next loop. Repeat all the way around the cloth. Join with slip st to first sc.
2. Slip st in next ch 3 sp. Ch 1. Sc in same ch 3 sp. Ch 3. Sc in next ch 3 sp. Repeat all the way around. Join with slip st to first sc.
3. Repeat Round 2. Join with slip st to first sc. Finish off.
Have a great day!
