It’s time for the next part of our mystery project 🙂
1. Create a 4 peg I-cord 4″ long. Bind off and weave in yarn tails at both ends. Set aside.
2. Find the end of the body that was knitted in part 1. This will be the gathered cast off edge with the shorter yarn tails. Weave in the yarn tails at this end. Cut 3 strands of yarn approximately 10″ long. Hook them through the knitting at the back of the body. You may need to thread them on a sewing needle or use a crochet hook to pull them through the knitting. Even out the yarn ends and separate the strands into 3 groups, consisting of 2 strands each. Braid the 6 strands together until they measure about 2 1/2″ long. Tie a knot at the end and leave the yarn tails as fringe. If needed, trim them to measure about 1/2″ long.
And that’s all for this week 🙂 Hope you are having fun with this project! Have a great day!
