I didn’t 😉 We were heading out to take my oldest to the clinic for a rapid strep test (he came out all clear, hehe) and he pointed out that I was not wearing green. I protested that the pinstripe in my slacks was nearly green. In the end, I took a pinch. He was kind enough to make it a soft one, lol.
While I was a dud this morning, this afternoon I pulled out my jewelry trappings and made a little something green:
Isn’t it pretty? Need an insurance policy against pinches next year? Remember these? The bracelet pictured above was made the same way I made the Pretty and Pink bracelet, using moss agate in place of the beads, wire instead of monofilament, toggle clasp and hoop rather than a lobster clasp and jump ring, plus adding in a crimp tube at each end of the bracelet. Pretty and Pink consists of one 2 peg beaded I-cord. For the bracelet pictured above, make three of the 2 peg beaded I-cords. I made 2 strands with moss agate and 1 strand in black seed beads. Then I lightly twisted them around each other.
Add a crimp tube and toggle/hoop at each end and you’ll have your own pretty pinch protection 🙂 Hope you had a great St Patricks Day!
