The kids have declared Thursday to be the best day ever.
We had plans to meet with my Dad, go to a movie, then swimming at his house.
Super, duper fun 🙂
I was going to stop at the library to return a book on our way to the theater but decided to put it off at the last minute.
Very last minute. It was go straight and reach the library or turn and head for destination fun.
I chose to head right to the fun.
It was a good thing too, we met up with road construction on the way.
Before we left the house, Tate was asking when we’d be able to leave.
He wanted time to pass faster so he could get to Grandpa’s house and swim.
When we hit construction, Tristan worried that we’d be late and miss the movie.
We arrived just at the time we were supposed to meet my Dad.
I haven’t been to the theater in the New Gate Mall for ages and parked near the food court area so we had a bit of a walk.
When we got to the theater, Tate remarked on what a nice theater it was and said something about it being “first class”
One of the kids said it was like a labyrinth 🙂
We went to see Toy Story 3. Loved it! Pixar films are always awesome.
It was fun, clever, action packed, funny and sentimental. Highly recommend it.
After the flick, we went to my Dad’s house for some swimming.
For once I remembered my camera:

We managed to get the water pups out of the pool long enough to have a picnic under a shady walnut tree.
Then, like lightning, they dashed back to the pool for more fun.
When we were on our way home my little Tristan said it was too bad I couldn’t swim.
He’s a sweet little boy ❤
He thought I couldn’t swim because I have a ruptured disc and a herniated disc in my back.
I told him swimming was probably one of the best fitness activities for me.
That got me to thinking about being in the water. Weight and gravity off my spine for a bit.
Now I want a pool! 😉
Have a great day!
